The following are the policies, procedures and disclaimers of The Grooming Gallery. Please feel free to address us if you have any concerns or questions about them!
Our Rights...
*We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone due to unruly, dangerous, sick, excessively unkept or ticked infested animals, or pets at risk because of the aforementioned conditions or any other reason we deem necessary. If the groomer deems a pet as any of the above, she has the right to refuse to groom the pet. It is not the groomers job to deal with illnesses, fleas or excessive ticks on a pet. If you choose to bring your pet in without notifying the groomer of these hazards, you will be responsible for any and all costs involved in treating your pet or other pets that are put at risk because of this. We require proof of current vaccinations on ALL PETS, and will not groom the pet without them. This rule exists for the safety of you, the groomer and all animals in the shop, including your pet. If you do not have records, call your vet, they will supply them.
Gift Certificates...
*All gift certificates and/or coupons are to be used by the expiration date as stated on the certificate. Cancellations of appointments made with the intent of using the certificate automatically nulls them as void unless you call in and cancel your appointment as least 24 hours in advance, and the reason for cancellation is unavoidable. Certificate and/or coupons can not be passed on to another for use without consent of the groomer. Certificates are valid for the amount stated only, and additional costs due to unkept dogs, special instructions or unruly behavior will not be covered by the certificate above the stated amount and are the responsibilities of the client. Coupons can not be used with any other offer/discount.
Irritation and Injury...
*We are not responsible for the irritation or injury of any pet that was not the direct result of something related to their stay here at our shop. Any injuries sustained from a groom/care that is the result of unruly behavior in your dog will not be held responsible to The Grooming Gallery. Injuries to a groomer, owner, or bystander on our property as a result of aggressive behavior from your pet can not be held liable to The Grooming Gallery.
Dematting of a coat sometimes results in irritation and nicks to the skin that are often unavoidable. If this happens, it will be brought to your attention, and we are not responsible for any vet bills that result from a dematting. There is no excuse for a matted pet, and the groomer does her best to see that the matts are removed without trauma to the pet. In the case of an emergency, you will be contacted for permission to take your animal to our vet for treatment. If the cause for the emergency and needed vet attention is a result of something not at direct fault of the groomer, you will be responsible for all charges. We will attempt to notify you before we take the animal to the vet, but in the case you are unreachable, we will take the action that is in the best interest of your pet.
Prices and Quotes...
*All prices and price quotes are estimates and are subject to change at any time. Actual costs of a groom can NOT be determined until the groom is complete, thus, any quotes are merely an estimate, and the final charge can not be disputed. Actual charge of a groom is based on a number of factors such as coat condition, pet size, pet behavior, type of cut done, presence of fleas/ticks, hair type, presence of mats, excessively dirty coats and other grooming related factors.
Missed appointments must be paid in full or any future appointments will be automatically cancelled. No additional bookings can be made if you have outstanding no-show or cancellation fees until they are paid in full. There is a fee for all dogs left after the appointed pick up time.
